Opinion Research & Development (ORD) is the research and professional development institution, situated in Thapathali, Kathmandu. It is established for the purpose of increasing the understanding of research and professional development problems confronting the developing world. It provides high quality research and analysis through a cost-effective model. It focuses for the global sustainable development through the application of research and appropriate solutions to the problems. It works with government agencies, academic community, international agencies, non-governmental organizations, foundations, community groups, private institutions, individuals and the organization which seek to improve the quality of life of people through the exchange of ideas and mobilization of resources.

The philosophy of Opinion Research and Development is set up under the pioneering vision of its team. ORD aims to bring about an inclusive change in the previously untapped regions in the rural, semi-urban and urban areas of the country. The organization has also initiated concentrated efforts in the field of research, skill development, capacity building through its project management divisions.
